Submitting a report about public space

To submit a report about the public space, such as a complaint about issues like paving, waste, cleaning, greenery, blocked sewers, public lighting, or pest control, please provide the information to the municipality by phone (020) 496 21 21. This can be done during office hours.

Submit a complaint about municipal services

If you have a complaint about the municipality's services (for example, if you feel you have been treated poorly by someone from the municipality), please go to Complaints about municipal services.

Phone report outside office hours

For reporting a dangerous situation or an urgent matter, please always call us at (020) 496 21 21. This way, we can take action as quickly as possible. If the report is made after office hours or during the weekend, please stay on the line until you are redirected.

Procedure

It is important to provide a clear description of the report and give us as much information as possible. If we do not receive a complete request, it becomes more difficult for us to handle the report, especially if we cannot reach you to request further information.

Tips for submitting the report:

  • Ensure that you describe the report as fully and comprehensively as possible.
  • Include a clear location, numbers of waste containers or broken streetlights if applicable, and consider attaching clear photos.
  • Preferably include your contact information (name, phone number, or email address) in the report. This will allow us to reach out to you if we need more information. In most cases, you will also be kept informed about the progress of your report.
GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation)

When you submit an application or report, the municipality requires your personal data. The municipality handles your personal data with care. The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) outlines how the municipality should handle your personal data.

The main rules are:

  • The personal data requested by the municipality is necessary for processing your application or report.
  • The municipality registers and processes your data in a secure, confidential, and careful manner.
  • The municipality only uses your data for processing your application or report (or something directly related to it).
  • Your personal data is not retained for longer than necessary for processing your application or report.
  • Other organizations only receive your data if it is legally required.
  • If you request it, the municipality will inform you about the purpose of the data and what will happen to it.
