ZIVVER ensures that confidential information is securely sent, and only the sender and recipient can read the message, including hackers. Since January 1, 2016, the Dutch Data Breach Notification Act has been in effect, and stricter European legislation has applied since May 2018.

When we send you an email with ZIVVER, you will receive a message from ZIVVER in your mailbox with a link. Click on the link, and you will be automatically redirected to the secure environment of ZIVVER. You can open and read the municipality's email via the instructions.

Unfortunately, we cannot fulfill requests for items like shopping cart tokens, pens, or paperclips with the municipality's logo. Throughout the year, we receive many requests for these items, even from abroad. We do not provide promotional items for such requests. Therefore, sending an email, letter, or making a call for this purpose is not necessary.

PDF documents must be saved in an accessible format, a format that can be read by software.
The guideline imposes very high requirements on PDF files. Specific knowledge and/or tools are needed to create PDFs that meet these requirements. However, many PDF documents are externally supplied, making it difficult to always comply with this guideline.
The municipality of Ouder-Amstel believes it has adequately addressed the deviation from the norm.
As a solution to the problem, the municipality of Ouder-Amstel chooses to apply a set of minimum requirements for PDFs:
- The format is PDF/A-1a or PDF/UA-1.
- The text must be selectable and copyable.
- The PDF does not contain scanned documents.
- The PDF does not contain personal data.
- Except for externally supplied documents.
To limit the number of less accessible documents, the municipality of Ouder-Amstel imposes requirements on new PDFs. PDFs must meet at least the criteria under 'Alternatives.'
It may be that you still encounter a non-accessible PDF version. You can contact us at gemeente@ouder-amstel.nl and request an accessible version of the relevant document. Please include the URL of the page where the PDF is located in your message.
